Designer with an interest in product, engineering, and business strategy

I’m a Product Designer with over 10 years of experience mostly focused on 0 → 1 product development and quick, insight-informed iteration. Most recently, I worked at Riot Games and helped shape the future of esports as a member of their Esports Digital Team. Before that, I've worked with many early stage startups to help breakdown complex problems and design solutions for a variety of markets. As a designer, I approach life with insatiable curiosity and a critical eye for both aesthetic and functional quality.

I also love connecting with people, so feel free to reach out on social media or via email! Looking forward to meeting you :)

While at Riot Games, I helped shape new experiences for esports products on web and mobile.

Hi, I’m Arix 👋

I was born in Houston, Texas but currently live in New York City. I started my career in Graphic Design with an obsession for drawing and art history, but—having been a life long gamer and bit of a nerd—I also taught myself web development and got interested in the design of the products we use every day, thus starting a career in product design!

Recently, I've been learning more about Product Management, SwiftUI for prototyping, and 3D modeling using Spline.

In my free time, I enjoy playing games, cooking, reading, and drawing. I also spend way too much time on Twitter (and still refused to call it X).

You can learn more about me and my interests outside of product design at arixking.com.
