In the spring of 2019, I connected with Farza, then Kanga's CTO, on Twitter. After hanging out a couple times, he asked me to interview with the Kanga team to join as their first Product Designer.

While at Kanga, I worked with the founders and engineering team to build several products that served the gaming, content creator, and esports spaces. Starting as a Chrome extension, we scaled our product experience to a mobile and website that would serve thousands of users and streamers.

As a small team, I helped contribute to product roadmap, code prototypes, and resource planning beyond the scope of design. (I even got to do some PR work!)

I also spearheaded to moonshot bet to get content creators on our platform, working with content creators like Emiru and iKeepItTaco, to onboard them to Kanga and use our application as a Link-in-Bio tool to connect with our audience.

After two and a half years building Kanga up from nothing to thousands of users and millions of organic page visits, Riot Games acquired our product and team in Summer of 2021 to support their vision of scaling esports into the future.
